Who is Mrs. Deichert?
Hello,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your children. I thought you might like to know a little more about me. I grew up in several states because my father was in retail management. I was born in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Nashville when I was two. Several years later, I moved to Natchez, Mississippi where I lived until the eighth grade. From there, my father was transferred to Youngstown, Ohio where I lived until I completed my first years of college.
Originally, I obtained an associate's degree in Animal Science and became a licensed and certified animal technician. I practiced in the veterinary field for twelve years in small animal practices in Virginia and Ohio. My husband, Jeff, and I moved here in 1996 and eleven years later, still enjoy the beautiful scenery and the friendly atmosphere of Dayton.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a 4.0 grade point and a degree to teach from pre-school to the fourth grade. Third grade is my absolute favorite grade!
My husband and I are busy parents of three girls, ages fifteen, nine, and three. I truly understand the parents who are struggling to fit in schoolwork and extra activities. We run from high school events all the way to pre-school dinners. We attend church and enjoy the fellowship at Walden's Ridge. In my spare time, I love to cook, travel, and enjoy the outdoors.
My goal is teach your child the required academics in a fun and safe atmosphere. Also, the morals and ethics of social life are very important to me so I try to fit in life's lessons of character education. As a child, a high education was priority and I hope to pass on to your children, the love of knowledge and a desire to learn.
Thank you again for your cooperation and trust. I think highly of my students and I hope it shows.
Julie Deichert
