Important Information

Dear Family Caregivers of all Fifth Grade Students:

  I need your help. Please review these BASIC MATH FACTS with your child each night until

He/she can answer them without ANY hesitation. The memorization of addition and subtraction facts begin in first

grade. Multiplication starts in the second grade.  It is absolutely necessary that your child master

these facts in order to be successful in math this year.  These are skills that your child will use throughout their life.

Therefore, it is extremely important that each child know these facts without hesitation. 

 They need to know the multiplication tables from the 2’s to the 12’s, and the add ition and subtraction facts from

1-18.  I thank you for your help!
