READING - This week we are reading the stories “Peter’s Chair” and “Peter’s Baby Sister?”  Please practice our word wall words and spelling words at home with your child this week.   Also, in the boxes are three sentences for your child to read to you.

MATH
– We will continue working on time and money.  We will also be working addition and subtraction facts 1 through 12.

 

Please practice with your child on a daily basis the math skills of telling time to the hour and to the half hour and counting money. These are important skills. Also, be sure to continue working with your child on addition and subtraction facts. They must be memorized before your child promotes to Second Grade

 

ENGLISH – We will introduce adjectives for how many. We will practice and write with adjectives for how many.
