Adverbs- mostly describe verbs.
An adverb MAY describe a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
Adverbs describe verbs by telling a)HOW b) WHEN c)WHERE.
Adverbs describe adjectives or other adverbs by telling TO WHAT EXTENT.
Most adverbs end in -ly, especially if they tell HOW.
The words GOOD, BAD, & WELL may be used as adjectives.
WELL is an adjective when it means healthy.
WELL & BADLY are adverbs when they tell HOW.
