Pronouns

people, places, and things.
- POSSESSIVE

an apostrophe in a possessive pronoun.
- SUBJECT
PRONOUN is in the subject part of the sentence. Use

- The pronoun
I is ALWAYS capitalized.
- OBJECT PRONOUNS are found in the
predicate part of the sentence and are used to replace

- DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS- refer to SPECIFIC people, places, or things.
- INTERROGATIVE PRONOUNS- are used to ask questions.
- REFLEXIVE PRONUNS- are used to refer back to subject nouns and
pronouns.
- INDEFINITE PRONOUNS- refer to or replace nouns in a general way.
- ANTECEDENT- the word or group of
words that a pronoun replaces.
