There are two Spelling tests each week.
A Wednesday test is composed of 20 list words,
2 or 3 frequently misspelled words, and 5 challenge words.
The challenge words are extra points,
1 point per word for a maximum of 5 points.
105 is the highest grade that can be made.
If you make 105, you are not required

SUM--The answer when you add.
ADDEND--The numbers that you add

Vertical--Straight up and down.

Consecutive Numbers--Counting by ones with no skips or breaks.

Median: The middle number when you arrange numbers in order from
least to greatest or greatest to least.
Regrouping: To make 1 ten form 10 ones, to make 1 hundred form 10 tens,
to make 1 thousand to form 10 hundreds.
Symmetry: An object has symmetry if you fold it and both sides
match exactly.
Factor: The numbers that you multiply.
Product: The answer when you multiply.
Set 6 Definitions:
Prime Number: A number with only 2 factors, the number 1 and the
number itself.
Composite Number: A number with 3 factors or more.
Column: A vertical list.
Row: A horizontal list.
Array: An arrangement of objects in rows and columns.
Set 7 Definitions
Quotient: The answer when you divide.
Divisor: The number you divide by.
Dividend: The number that is divided.
Identity Property of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and
division: When you add and subtract with 0, the identity of
the number doesn't change. When you divide or multiply by 1,
the identity of the number doesn't change.
Zero Property of division---IMPOSSIBLE, you cannot divide by zero.

Perimeter : The distance around an object.
Area: The number of square units inside an object.
Remainder Rule: The remainder must always be less than the divisor.

Average--Mean--They are synonyms. Find how to make each group have
the same amount. Step 1--Find the sum. Step 2 Divide the sum by the
number of addends.

Median--The middle number when you put numbers in order from least

Range--Larger-Smaller = Difference
Set 11 Definitions
Intersecting lines--Lines that cross, meet, touch, or join.
Clock quarters--quarter past and quarter before.
Perpendicular lines intersect in a special way. They form perfect corners
called right angles.
A square has 4 congruent sides and opposite sides are parallel.
A rectangle has 4 sides and opposite sides are congruent and parallel.

Numerator is the number on top of the fraction bar. Denominator is the
number under the fraction bar.
Proper Fraction--The numerator is smaller than the denominator.
Equivalent fractions are fractions that name the same amount.

Turn--To move around a point without picking up, also called a rotation.
Add and Subtract Fractions--Make sure the denominators are the same, then
