About Me I grew up in Chattanooga, TN and attended high school at Girls Preparatory School. I came to Dayton to attend Bryan College, and while at Bryan I completed part of my student teaching at Graysville Elementary. I loved Graysville immediately, and hoped I would be able to work here one day. I have been at Graysville for four years, and I have also been lucky enough to have a myriad of other wonderful teaching experiences. While at Bryan I had the opportunity to spend a semester as an intern with Colorado UpLift, working with students in Denver, Colorado. I was also able complete a summer fellowship with the Chicago Public School system one summer. I then spent the first part of my student teaching with Jan Jasso in the fourth grade at Graysville. For the second part of my student teaching experience, I was able to go to Hoboken, New Jersey and work at the Mustard Seed School. My first teaching job was at the Evensville Preschool. All of these experiences were wonderful, but there is no place like Graysville and I am happy to be here! |
