Accelerated Reading

Your child will read library books and reading textbook and take reading test on the computer. The student will earn AR point s for each test passed. The books earn different points. Most of our books earn !/2 point if the students scores 80% to 100 % on the test. The students earn prizes for points accumulated. There is usually a end of the year trip for students earning 60 points or more.

Accelerated Math

Your child will be working on second grade math skills through accelerated math. This is a computer program that prints out the skill that your child is working on. When that skill is mastered the next skill will be printed. The child does not work directly on the computer but on paper and transfers those answers to the computer.
