What We Are Studying
- Review of all letters
studied: a, c, m, p, s, t, i, b, n, r, d, k, f, o, h, l, g, e, j, w, x
(Students should be able to recognize the letters studied so far as well
as know their sounds. They should also be able to use the letters to make
words.)
- Math-
time to the half hour, subtraction, money review, measurement
- Writing
sentences using line rules
- Sounding
out words
Reminders
- Kindergarten
students will not attend school on April 25th. We will be
registering kindergarten students for next year.
- The
fifth six weeks will end on April 8th. Grade cards will go home
on April 18th.
- Our
next library day will be April 16th.

Please practice sight words and sounding out words with
your child each night. Students should know sight words and be able to sound
out simple three letter words by the end of the year.
