My name is Kim Corvin, and I am so thrilled to be a part of your child's kindergarten experience. This is my twelfth year of teaching, and all 12 years have been in kindergarten. I absolutely LOVE being the first teacher a child has, and I make special effort to make kindergarten a wonderful and fun experience.

I am married to Jim Corvin, and we recently celebrated our 13th anniversary. We attend Walnut Grove Full Gospel church where we are both very active in music and children's services. Together we have 2 beautiful daughters. Abigail is 8-years-old and is in third grade this year at Rhea Central. Ashton is 7-years-old and is in second grade at RCES as well.

After now having my own children, I realize how important my role is as your child's teacher. Not only must I teach them the basics--reading, writing, arithmetic--but also social skills. I must set an example in manners, kindness, leadership, and morals.

I want you to feel free to be able to come talk to me whenever you feel the need. Together we will work to make this kindergarten year an awesome experience for your child and, hopefully, begin a love of school and learning to last a lifetime!
