Monday: 1. Read List words & then read read:  One Dark Night pgs. 186-200.  Read it 2 times with an adult.

 

Tuesday: 1. Read list words & then complete the Think Link skill pages.  Have an adult to sign it when you are finished.  Turn it in on Wednesday.

 

Wednesday:  Write a sentence for each of the first 10 spelling words.  Underline the spelling word in each sentence.  Sentence must be at least 4 words long.  Begin each sentence a different way. (Example:  he, she, we, they, you, mom, dad,etc.)

Turn it in on Thursday morning.

 

Thursday:  Take a practice spelling test at home.  Have an adult to grade it.  Write any misspelled words 5 x each.  Turn it in on Friday morning.

We’ll be testing over words we’ve already learned this year.

Students will identify the correctly spelled words or the misspelled words.  They won’t have to write them from memory. 

 

Reading: We’re studying for our Unit Reading test & Math test. We are testing this week.  Please have your child here on time.  7:45.

 

Monday night: Complete the Math skill sheet (front & back). Students must write the math problems on their scratch sheet to prove the answer and THEN bubble in the answer on the Math sheet. Parents need to check over it & sign it.  Turn it in on Tuesday.

 

Tuesday night: Complete the English Skill sheet.  Have a parent to check over it & sign it.  Turn it in on Wednesday.

 

Wednesday & Thursday:  No homework.

 

Your child needs to bring their Christmas stocking on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Make sure the stocking & items in it are fun school supplies. NO TOYS or CANDY in the stocking.  (Christmas stockings are optional).

1.purchase pre-paid lunch $6.00,  2. bring your lunch from home, or

3. get a cafeteria lunch from school.

Wednesday:  Write a sentence for each of the first 10 spelling words.  Underline the spelling word in each sentence.  Sentence must be at least 4 words long.  Begin each sentence a different way. (Example:  he, she, we, they, you, mom, dad,etc.)

Turn it in on Thursday morning.
