7:55 - 8:00 Welcome; put folders in basket and put backpacks away; meet in circle time

8:00 - 8:15 Calendar and Message Board

8:15 - 8:30 Letter of the week introduction and review

8:45 - 9:00 Word Work at seats using: Phonics and High-Frequency Words

9:00 - 9:15 Shared Reading Lesson using: Reading Strategies and Listening Comprehension

9:15 - 10:30 Centers and Reading Groups (Tuesday - Thursday)

Computer (Monday); Music (Friday); Guidance (every other Thursday)

10:15 - 10:40 Language Arts using: Grammar, Writing, Speaking and Listening OR Mini-lesson (teacher choice)

10:40 - 10:45 Prepare For Lunch

10:45 - 11:15 LUNCH

11:15 - 11:20 Return From Lunch; Bathroom Break

11:20- 11:30 Mrs. Mullins reads to us

11:30- 11:40 Review of daily skills

11:40 - 12:05 Math Lesson and Related Activities

12:05 - 12:35 RECESS

12:45 - 12:50 Recap and review the day; give previews for tomorrow

12:50 - 1:00 Prepare for HOME and say Good-byes
