| We are reading every day in the classroom. I am very pleased that the students are doing their daily homework of reading.Thank you for initialing the Reading Records. In the event that your student has forgotten to bring their book home, just have them read something from home and write this on the reading record. They still get credit for doing the assignment. | Vocabulary words are listed on the back of the reading records. These change weekly. You will also find a list of word family review words. It is very important that these words are mastered each week since they are review from the previous grade. | Weekly tests are given on Fridays. These include the vocabulary words, the phonics skills for that story, and comprehension questions. |
