Spelling Words: midair, misplace, mislead, midway, misprint, midday, midweek, misbehave, midyear, mismatch, misdeed, mistake, midstream, midnight, misbehavior

 

Spelling Sentences.

 He kicked the football in midair at the midweek game.

The mistake in the newspaper was just a misprint.

A misdeed can be the result of misbehavior.

Vocabulary: adventure, clubhouse, greatest, wondered, people, probably, shall, climbed, exploring, truest, bought, pleasant, scared, sign

 

Reading: Read “Jingle Dancer”.  Remember to have your child read for fluency, expression, and make sure they are stopping at periods and pausing at commas. Also help them pick out the main idea of the selection

 

Phonics: prefixes mis and mid

 

English: commas

 

Math: multiplication

 

Science: America

 

 

The year is winding down!  Please send in all library books and textbooks.  Make sure all pictures are paid or returned.  Take care of all lunch charges.

There will be no school Thursday May 22nd.  We will only be here for you to pick up report cards on Friday May 23rd. If you want me to mail your child’s report card just send in a self addressed stamped envelope and I will stick it in the mail.

          Also we will be having a field/fun day on Monday May 19th . Please make sure your child wears clothes and shoes that make it easy to run and play.
