1. Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
2. Be neat.
3. Be polite.
4. Raise your hand.
5. Follow directions first time given.
Each child has an apple hanging on our classroom tree. If a student breaks a rule, their apple falls off the tree to the warning line. Warnings do not result in losing recess time. If they misbehave again, their apple falls to the next line and they will lose 5 minutes of recess. The third time will result in their apple moving down to the next line and they will lose 10 minutes of recess. The fourth time the student breaks a rule, they will lose 15 minutes and their parents will be notified and possibly the principal. The next morning each child's apple will go back on the tree to begin a new day. Every day is a new day!!
