Supply List for Pendergrass/Swafford/Farnsworth Team

·        10 packs of notebook paper (no spiral, wide-ruled preferred)

·        One notebook or three-ring binder

·        One pack of five subject dividers

·        1 spiral notebook for Math notes

If you buy mechanical, I would suggest that you go ahead and stock up on

the lead so you will have it. If you just get regular pencils, about 72 should

      last through the year.

     Five 2-pocket folders with prongs

4 highlighters (This should get you through the year.)

·        Crayons or colored pencils

I have already purchased these and will keep them in my room for all

students to use so that I don’t have to worry about everyone getting to class with them. As you can imagine, it is expensive to buy these for 75 plus math

students, so the $1.00 to cover the cost will help a lot.

Optional Materials

·Scissors

·Stick glue

** Your child may bring a backpack if he/she chooses. However, there is not much need for them in fifth grade. The largest amount of books that will ever be taken home is probably two. Most nights your child will only need to carry one book home. Most backpacks end up hanging in their cubbies all year and never being used.
