Tips for Anger Management

1. Learn to identify your anger signs (clenched hands/teeth, sweaty palms, etc.)

2. Use cool down techniques (count to ten, tell yourself that you can handle the situation).

3. Try to look at the problem from the other person's perspective.

4. Vent your anger in a positive way (involvement in community projects, school activities, sports, or exercise).

5. Use WORDS not VIOLENCE to resolve conflicts.

6. Tell the other person how you FEEL instead of WHAT THEY DID TO YOU.

5. Talk to an adult if you cannot resolve the issue between yourselves.

6. REMEMBER THAT ANGER IS NORMAL...WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS HOW YOU HANDLE YOUR ANGER!!!
