Parents:
Your student will have a test just about every Friday
We will be covering all elements of Language Arts: Grammar, Writing, Reading, Vocabulary etc.
In January we will be working primarily on writing in preparation for the February TCAP Writing Assesment Test.
Remember that your student must be keeping a Language Arts Notebook. In it, they will have sections for their GRADE SHEET, ALL GRADED PAPERS FOR THAT SIX WEEKS, THE ENTIRE YEAR'S VOCABULARY WORDS, ALL NOTES FROM THE YEAR, & VARIOUS WRITING ASSIGNMENTS. THEY WILL GET A GRADE ON THEIR NOTEBOOKS FROM TIME TO TIME!
It is your student's responsibility to come to me to get their makeup work. Check my classroom rules for my policy. Your child was given a copy at the first of the year.
