February 1 - February 5

-No School on February 12 for a Professional Development Day.

-No School on February 15 for President's Day.

-Our Valentine's Day party will be on February 11th.

-We have a spelling test and reading test every Friday

Be sure to read the story with your child

every night and practice the spelling words.

Reading: We will take our reading test on Wednesday over "Where Are My Animal Friends?" We will start book 4 on Thursday. We will be reading "Mama's Birthday Present" and "Chinese Suprises" on Thursday and continue with these stories nest week. Please read with your child every night.

Spelling: We will have our spelling test over the -er and -est words on Wednesday. Please practice with your child. We will start our new word list next week.

Math: We are working on time. Please practice time to the hour and half hour with your child. Talk about time with your child and clocks with minute and hour hands.

Science/Social Studies: We will continue talking about weather and seasons.
