"A Few Verses Upon the Burning of Our House, July 10, 166"~ a poem by Anne Bradstreet. Read two other poems she wrote as epitaphs for her mother and father here. Read another poem she wrote about her husband here.

Biopoem~ a poem written about you by you!
"Me in a Bag" essay~analyzing symbols to appreciate another person
"We" Poem~ a poem written in a voice that was uncomfortable for you and written using alliteration! We used "We Real Cool" by Gwendolyn Brooks to write our parallel poems.
Myth~ we actually developed myths to explain something about the natural world!! We used the myth writing workshop from Scholastic to help us, and then we wrote our finals! Here are some of the ideas you came up with: "Why we have Stars", "The Origin of Snowflakes", "How the Giraffe got a long neck", and "The Origin of the Rainbow". WAY TO GO on this assignment!!!
