Dear Students and Parents,

We have a lot to learn this year! We will have textbooks for every subject. We will learn multiplication/division facts and lots more in math. Beginning the second six weeks, we will begin to learn how to write in cursive.

I will send home graded papers from the previous week with an overview of the week to come on Mondays. Please look through these papers to know the progress each student is making. Parents should sign and return folders on Tuesdays.

Makeup work must be done in a timely manner so students do not fall behind due to absence.

We expect third graders to grow in showing responsibility. Please be at school on time with supplies and homework. Our homework will be mainly for reading and math. Most of our work will be done at school and is due at the end of class or by the end of the day... points may be deducted from work that is late.

My expectations for quality are high...both in classwork and behavior. Parents, please do all you can to support your student and encourage them to be the best they can be.
