RR is designed to help children before school problems develop.
RR targets the lowest 20% of the class.
It provides individual instruction in reading and writing, 30 minutes daily.
RR is a short term intervention program; the average program is 12-20 weeks.
The goal is to bring children up to the average reading level in their class.
The gains that RR students make are sustained through fourth grade without further interventions.
Our national goal is to discontinue 66% of the children served.
