Classroom Rules

Within our classroom will be a behavior chart. The chart will be set up like a “Red Light.” All students will begin each day on the “green light” or happy smiley face. If a student is disobedient to a rule set up within the classroom, he or she will be asked to move their clip to the “yellow light” or fair face. If another incident occurs, the child will be asked to move their clip to the “red light” or frowning face. It is important that you talk to your child and praise them for positive behavior. On Friday, students who have moved their clip less than 3 times will be able to get a prize from the treasure box.

As within the school and all other classrooms, our class has a set of rules that all students are expected to follow. We want all parents to be aware of the rules and expectations.

1. Follow directions first time given.

2. Listen with eyes and ears.

3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

4. Treat classmates and teachers with respect.

5. Work jobs should be completed quietly with thought and effort.

Consequences

1.First Offense-Move clip to yellow-Lose 5 min. of recess

2.Second Offense-Move clip to red-Lose 10 min. of recess

3.Thrid Offense-Lose 15 min. of recess-Note or call home

4.Fourth Offense-Lose 20 min. of recess-Note or call home

5.Fifth Offense-Principal’s Office-Note or call home
