Suggestions
for Parents
* Please make sure your child reads
to you from their book each evening. Then have them
put their book in their backpack and return it to
school the next day. Also, ask them questions about
what they read, to insure they are comprehending what
they are reading.
*Please help your child to learn by sight the words that
are sent home each six weeks. *Also, practice the list of
words that can be "sounded out" by your child.
Blending sounds together to read words is an important
skill.
